1st INTERNATIONAL DAY                                                                                                                                                                                  IN RESPECT OF CIVILIANS MUTILATED BY WAR                                                                                                                                           OR ATROCITY

A soldier is wounded on the battlefield : the press mentions it and that is the normal course of events. As regards those mutilated without uniforms, collateral victims of wars, their number is not counted : it is, nonetheless, very high but, as civilians, the victim remain anonymous.

Mohamed, Iheb, Zaïnab, Sama, with the aid of many participants, thanks to the voluntary involvement of several Nice Doctors, placet International has already restored their dignity and offered the hope of a better life to these four young victims of the violence of men : it now wishes to relieve other people in distress.

placet International Côte d'Azur lance the creation of a virtual network which will enable wounded, mutilated civilians and their doctors in the relevant countries to contact surgeons and other volunteers engaged in humanitarian work whose personal and professional situation does not permit them to travel.

placet International Côte d'Azur is organising this action with the aim of finding voluntary workers and encouraging them to establish in their country additional aid centers so as to restore hope to the forgotten victims.

So as to interface with the forgotten of war and atrocities placet International needs each one of us. The association appeals to us to conduct a humanitarian action from our own homes.

placet International summons us to an inaugural assembly on August 1, 2011
